All public officials who take the sworn oath or affirmation required by Article IX. Section 1. of the Maine Constitution, have a duty to familiarize themselves with the content of those documents.
When confronted with their failure to honor and support the Constitutions they swore and subscribed to support, they need to either correct the error of their ways, or resign the office.
Public officials who swear false oaths or affirmations to support the Constitution, are lacking the necessary integrity to hold office, and should not be allowed to feed out of the public treasury.
We the Free and Independent People need to establish Constitutional, competency, integrity, assessment, and review community centers, on the Local,County, State and National levels, to monitor control and discipline those entrusted with public office.
